Celebrating Our Independence Quilt Show from July 1-7th

We want your RED, WHITE, and BLUE Quilts! Get involved and participate in this local quilt show held at Historic Christ Church in Weems, VA.

There is no fee to enter a quilt into this show and you may drop off your quilt with the accompanying form at Historic Christ Church on June 26th or 27th from 9am-4pm. Learn more about the show and how you can enter your quilt here.

Quilt of the Week

Our Quilt of the Week is by Thelma S.. Inspired by our Shoreline 5-Yard Quilt, Thelma started with the stunning Oceanica Sea Life Aqua and paired it with a vibrant mix of complementary batiks. She brought it all together beautifully using the Aurora pattern from Fabric Café’s Fabulous 5-Yard Quilts book. Look for Thelma’s quilt this week on Facebook and Instagram. Embroidery Club–July 24th

Get a leg up on Christmas and join the club!. Embroidery Club’s second project will be a small embroidered wall hanging.

Beginner Kids Sewing Camp August 4-7, 9am-Noon

This camp is perfect for the brand-new sewer with little or no experience! If your child has their own machine, it's a great time to learn how to use it. If not, no worries—Sewlovelee has machines available to rent.In this fun and educational course, students will learn the basics of quilting, including seam allowance, piecing, and adding borders. They'll create a small quilt from a panel and make a cozy reading pillow—perfect for curling up with their favorite storybook. Plus, they'll sew a small patchwork tote to carry it all in! It's a great introduction to sewing that builds confidence and creativity. Best suited for ages 8-15. Sign up here.

Longarm Quilting Appointments

Please make an appointment (sign up online) to drop off your quilt top for longarm quilting services. This ensures that your quilt is completed in a timely manner and also that you will have time for a consultation about your quilt pattern and thread color.

July 1– All Mid-Atlantic Shop Hop begins

The All Mid-Atlantic Shop Hop officially starts on Tuesday, July 1st and lasts through the end of August. We will have additional opening hours during this time. Pick up the magazine and the exclusive AMASH fabric and start hoppin’!

July 4th -- Sewlovelee will be OPEN 12-5pm. Come early and watch Irvington’s Hometown Parade at 11AM.
