May is Beyond Squares: Squares are great but we’re lovin’ curves and triangles this month. Curves are proudly on display at the shop in the quilt using the Clam Shells Pattern and Sunset Coast fabric and the Free-wheeling Single Girl using Grunge.

NEW! Community Sew-cial

This is a way for quilters and sewists to be social while they sew!
Sew-cials take place the first and fourth Tuesdays of the month (May 4th and 25th) at Irvington Baptist Church, 53 King Carter Dr, Irvington, VA. Come with a project for yourself, a project for our Beyond Ourselves quilt collection for kids in the community, or stop by Sewlovelee for new fabric or a pattern!

Participation is limited so register ASAP!

Sew a Mother's Day Card

Mother's Day is Sunday, May 9. Help the
kids get ready with this fun and creative
activity at Sewlovelee.
Friday, May 7, 4:00-5:00 pm $10 per child; all materials provided. Activity is appropriate for children ages 6 to 14. Reserve a spot here.

Barn Quilt Block Class

Saturday, June 4th 3-6pm
This is a painting class held outside where you will create an outdoor piece of wall art based upon a quilt block design. The finished painted block is 2'x2'. Please register at least two weeks in advance and purchase a Barn Quilt Block Kit. Rain date will be June 19th. Sign up here.
