2016 is going to be a great year! Why? You already have everything you need to make it great!
During 2015: Sewlovelee's Year of the Ruler, you stocked up on your specialty rulers and hopefully, you took advantage of the great year-end sale to stock up on fabric. With the start of the new year, it's time to get yourself organized, take those rulers out of the plastic and start stripping up your stash fabrics!
Here are a few things that may help you out with your new year's fabric-related resolutions:

2nd Wednesday: Stash buster Workshop What do you do with all of that extra scrap fabric? Come to a the monthly workshop and whittle away at your stash. January 13th from 10am-12pm will be the first stash buster workshop and will feature a table runner using 1.5" strips from the Stripology book. Cost $15 3rd Tuesday (daytime 10am-1pm) or 3rd Thursday (6-8pm) Sew Simple/Sip and Sew Don't you just want to finish a project? Start a quick project that can be accomplished in this time frame. January 19th or January 21st, we will make origami drawstring bags. Cost $10 3rd Friday: Ruler Workshop Yes, you will need to take the ruler out of the plastic to attend. Also, don't forget all of the 2.5" strips you've accumulated at the guild exchanges! January 22nd's Workshop from 10am-2pm will feature an original Sewlovelee pattern using the 90 degree double strip ruler. (Start looking for it now!) Cost $20 |
