It's starting to feel a little like fall with the cool mornings and leaves beginning to change.  The kids are starting to head to back to school.  September 8th is the first day of school for the girls, and I can't wait!

Lots of changes are happening at Sewlovelee.
Kyle headed off to the Fashion Institute of Technology the weekend of August 25th.

Thankfully, we can still live vicariously through him; he's going to keep us updated on all of his exciting adventures in NYC with his blog: kylefreezenyc.blogspot.com

Since Kyle is off living the life, we have some new helpers at Sewlovelee:

Cheryl used to help out at Material Girl in Burgess.	Greta doubles as Buzzy the Clown when she is not sewing!

What do Cheryl and Greta have in common?  They both love fabric and are happy to be here! Come by and meet them when you get a chance.

So what else is happening in September?

Sept. 5th, 11 am Demo Day--the Ruler of the Month is the Creative Grids 120 Degree Ruler.  I'm having lots of fun with this one and can't wait to show you a few tricks with it.
Sept. 8th Back to School Sale 15% OFF everything to celebrate the beginning of the 2015/16 school year. (Did I tell you that I am counting the days?!)
Sept. 8th Last day for Row by Row kits and patterns.  The contest continues until October 31st and if you present a completed quilt with 8 rows, you can win a 25 fat quarter bundle.  You may purchase kits after Nov. 1st.  If you would like to be on a list to have a kit mailed to you at that time, please let me know.  Right now, there are 11 kits remaining.
Sept. 11th 12-4pm and Sept. 12th 10am-4pm Quilts of River Country Quilt Show at Gloucester Courthouse.  Come see the lovely quilts on display, the demonstrations, and arrange to have your quilt(s) appraised. $2 entrance fee.
September 15th Sit and Sew with chair massages by Stephanie Reeves of a Tyme for You. Please sign up in advance.

New in the Shop

The first shipment of fabric for the Storytellers Block of the Month collection by Windham just arrived last week!  This is going to make a gorgeous quilt.  Let me know if you are interested in signing up.  Preregistration is required and the BOM will start in January 2016.
